Comprehensive Resource Helps Companies Plan for Return in Compliance with Key CDC Recommendations
Late last week an Alabama task force issued initial recommendations for businesses and their employees on how they might safely return to work. At the same time, President Trump announced a three-phase plan meant to guide governors as they make decisions regarding opening up their economies.
Gov. Ivey announced today that Alabama’s stay-at-home order will remain in place for the time being, citing that the state’s testing has been limited. While awaiting more feedback on the progression of the outbreak, businesses can use the published recommendations and best practices for planning how they will transition back to work when the time does come for them to reopen.
As part of their planning, owners are faced with critical questions regarding steps they will take to protect their employees. Preparing their workforce to return to the office safely, while utilizing guidelines and requirements from the CDC and other government agencies, is critical.
