Valent Group’s presence expanded to Huntsville with the 2014 acquisition of FBH Benefits, an organization with a successful history of providing benefits insurance to local businesses since 2007 and led by Huntsville-natives Dick Fountain and Ray Morring.

Today we’ve grown our North Alabama services beyond benefits and now offer property and casualty risk services, including safety, loss control and claims advocacy for our business insurance clients. Additionally, we’ve expanded our employee benefits consulting, with human resources, compliance, data analytics, wellness and beyond.

Dick continues to serve as Sr. Vice President and Huntsville Market Executive for Valent’s North Alabama efforts. He is a member of the Huntsville Housing Authority Board of Commissioners (a Mayor-appointed position), as well as board member for the Boys and Girls Club of North Alabama Board and sits on the Professional Advisors Group at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.
