The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released an updated Form I-9 for employers to complete for each U.S. new hire. The new form must be used beginning by May 1, 2020. Employers may use the prior version (Rev. 07/17/2017 N) until April 30, 2020.
The paper version of the new form remains unchanged, but the electronic form includes a few minor changes.
