In our quick reference guide for implementing regulations associated with the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act (EPSLA) and Emergency Family & Medical Leave Expansion Act (EFMLEA), you will find:
- The six qualifying reasons employees who are unable to (tele)work can receive paid leave
- Amount and duration of paid leave
- Tax credits to employers to reimburse cost of paid leave and health coverage
- Prohibitions and Penalties/Enforcement
Note: Small businesses can request an exemption. Employers may exclude health care providers and emergency responders.
