The EEOC issued a notice to the Office of Management and Budget to request re-authorization of the Component 1 reporting and to announce they do not intend to request renewal for Component 2 pay data reporting.

At this time and based on this notice, employers should not have to report on Component 2 data for 2019 and beyond. However, employers subject to EEO-1 reporting must submit Component 2 information for 2017 and 2018 by the September 30, 2019 deadline. See EEOC’s website for submission details.
