We are very excited to share that our Vice President of Property & Casualty, Mike Roman, will be a panelist at the Birmingham Business Journal’s (BBJ) Cybersecurity Panel event on Sept. 25th. Mike specializes in management liability and cyber liability and has nearly 15 years of experience, even working with Fortune 1000 publicly traded companies. At the panel, Mike will be offering insights into cyber related risk management, preparing in case of a breach, resources cyber liability coverage can offer and why a standard cookie cutter policy may not be a great fit for your business.
Joining Mike on the panel are several experts (listed below) offering various perspectives on the cybersecurity landscape and address current cyber threats and risks.
- John Rastovski – an executive director from the Global Technology organization of JPMorgan Chase’s Commercial Banking Business Unit
- Darren J. Mott – the supervisory special agent for the Counterintelligence Program for the FBI (Birmingham Division).
- Andrew R. Lee – a partner at Jones Walker in the Litigation Section and with the Corporate Compliance and White Collar Defense Team
- Nick Vangilder – C Spire’s “ethical hacker” and cybersecurity consultant group lead
The panel event marks the second time Mike has been featured in the BBJ speaking on cyber risk. Earlier this year Mike appeared in the “Insights into Cybersecurity” article as part of the BBJ’s Table of Experts Series. It is also Mike’s second speaking engagement with more on the horizon. He is also guiding the development of new cyber risk management tools and strategies within our agency. We are proud to have Mike on our team and to be able to offer such a deep level of expertise to the middle market businesses in Birmingham and across the Southeast.
